Skepta announces Ignorance Is Bliss
By Andy Malt | Published on Monday 29 April 2019
Skepta has announced that he will release his new album, ‘Ignorance Is Bliss’, next month. The LP is the follow-up to 2016 Mercury-winning ‘Konnichiwa’.
Other than the title, artwork and a release date of 31 May, there are few details about the rapper’s fifth album available as of yet. Since the release of ‘Konnichiwa’ he has put out an EP – ‘Viscious’ – and a number of standalone singles, most recently Wiley diss track ‘Wish You Were Here’.
In a post on Instagram announcing ‘Ignorance Is Bliss’, Skepta thanked his management company Metallic Inc “for bringing my ideas to life”.
