Sound Advice appointments

London based law firm Sound Advice has announced the recruitment of two new legal types to their team – former Sanctuary and Virgin Records business affairs exec Paul Kernick and publishing specialist Crispin Evans, who has worked at EMI and Universal’s publishing companies over the years as well as publishing collecting society MCPS-PRS.
Confirming the new recruits, Robert Horsfall, one of the founders of Sound Advice, told reporters: “It is a privilege to have Paul and Crispin join us. There aren’t many lawyers with their in-house experience. Both will be enormous assets to us and our clients, particularly in these times of dramatic change for the music industry”.
