The Artist:Entrepreneur Day from FAC and CMU:DIY this Saturday
By CMU Editorial | Published on Wednesday 29 July 2020
We’ve now announced a bunch of the music industry experts who will take part in the Artist:Entrepreneur Day this Saturday.
Presented by the Featured Artists Coalition and CMU:DIY, with support from Help Musicians, this is the artist-to-artist education programme that offers loads of practical tips and advice to early-career and self-managed artists. It’s hosted by artist-entrepreneurs Emma McGann, Kimberly Anne and Roxanne de Bastion, who will each let you inside their individual artist businesses.
They’ll also put questions to a bunch of music industry experts, including Aly Gillani from Bandcamp, Cliff Fluet from Lewis Silkin, Jataneel Banerjee from PRS For Music, Kwabena Amponsa from Mixcloud, Lulu Davis from Incendia Music, Roisin Brophy from PPL, Shauni Caballero from The Go 2 Agency, Sheila Shayegan from Bucks Music, and Tom Burris from ie:music.
CMU’s Chris Cooke will also be on hand to present some A:E Guides, providing insights on music rights, direct-to-fan and business partners.
This all takes place from 1pm – 5.30pm on Saturday 1 Aug and, thanks to Help Musicians, tickets are free this time.
