Tweak Bird announce debut album

Tweak Bird, aka brothers Caleb and Aston Bird, have announced that they will release their eponymous debut album via Souterrain Transmissions on 30 Aug.

Says drummer Ashton: “I’m pretty excited about the positivity and heaviness of it. We’re happy and we’re playing heavy music, and it doesn’t seem like people are doing that very much”.

With that in mind, Caleb added that the duo are never quite sure where they fit in terms of scenes: “When we play with heavy bands, in my mind I’m thinking ‘what a great bill!’ But we’re not that heavy. Play with a pop band and I’m all ‘hey, they write pop songs like us'”.

The names of the songs on the album are these:

The Future
Lights In Lines
Round Trippin
A Sun / Ahh Ahh
Beyond
Tunneling Through
Sky Ride
Hazement In The Basement
Flyin High
Distant Airways
