U2 drummer makes acting debut

A film featuring the acting debut of Larry Mullen Jr is to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival next month. Crime drama ‘Man On The Train’ is a remake of 2002 French film ‘L’homme Du Train’, which starred French musician Johnny Hallyday, and sees the U2 drummer star opposite Donald Sutherland. Directed by Mary McGuckian, Mullen Jr plays the role of a bank robber. He also co-produced the film and also composed its score with Simon Climie.
