Underwood wins twice at People’s Choice Awards

Carrie Underwood won three gongs at the US’s People’s Choice Awards this week, taking home the awards for Favourite Female Singer, Favourite Country Song for ‘Last Name’, and favourite star under 35 years old.
Other music stars winning awards at the event, which took place in LA and was aired on CBS, included Kid Rock, who got Favourite Rock Song for ‘All Summer Long’, and Katy Perry, who got Best Pop Tune for ‘I Kissed A Girl’.
