Universal Publishing signs Mike Einziger

Incubus guitarist Mike Einziger has signed an exclusive international deal with Universal Music Publishing Group. Einziger, you might or might not be surprised to know, co-wrote Avicii mega-hit ‘Wake Me Up’, which is of course encompassed in the agreement, as are his future songwriting endeavours.
Executive VP and Head Of Pop & Rock Music at UMPG, Monti Olson, says this thing here: “It’s great to work with a songwriter who is as versatile and talented as Mike. The amazing response that Wake Me Up has gotten is only the latest success in his extraordinary career, and I’m excited that he’s made UMPG a part of his future”.
Einziger himself adds: “I couldn’t be more honoured and excited to begin my new partnership with Universal Music Publishing. This is an exciting time for me as a songwriter and I feel like I’ve got the ultimate team in place to help fully realise my creative visions”.
