Wise Buddah exec to launch new media talent agency
By Chris Cooke | Published on Wednesday 5 August 2015
Sam Gregory, currently Senior Talent Manager at radio services and talent management agency Wise Buddah, has announced he is leaving the company to begin a new media talent agency, and that he will be taking some of his current employer’s roster with him.
Though this development is all very amicable, Gregory having done a deal with Wise Buddah founder Mark Goodier, who took a more hands-on role at the company again back in June. Gregory’s plan seemingly fits in with Goodier’s own strategy for his firm.
Look, here’s Goodier saying just that: “I am working to simplify the Wise Buddah proposition for its clients and customers as well as the staff who work here and this move fits with my plan. It also works very well for Sam, the talent who have moved to his new agency and the artists we will continue to represent at Wise Buddah in our voices and talent agency”.
And now Gregory: “I am excited to be setting up my own agency and building upon the on-going successes achieved with the clients who are joining me at Big Red Talent. I’d like to especially thank Mark and everyone else at Wise Buddah for the last three years”.
Oh, Gregory’s new talent agency is called Big Red Talent. I probably should have mentioned that at the start. But too late now.
