WSTRN sign to Sony/ATV
By Andy Malt | Published on Thursday 5 November 2015
Recently CMU approved group WSTRN found themselves a record deal with Warner/Atlantic after the summer success of debut single ‘In2’. And now they’ve scored a publishing deal with Sony/ATV. So it’s all going pretty well for them.
Sony/ATV UK President Guy Moot said in a statement: “I am thrilled to be working with the WSTRN boys. They represent the very best in high level contemporary urban music and can stand on a global stage beside superstar US urban counterparts”.
Name checking the group’s management, he went on: “Alongside the rich experience brought by [manager] Jonathan Shalit and the team at Roar, WSTRN are in line to become one of the most important urban acts in the UK and we look forward to working with them both as artists and songwriters on other projects”.
‘In2’ was re-released by Atlantic last week.
