Zebrahead tour
By CMU Editorial | Published on Friday 12 August 2011
Despite having just played a slot at this year’s Hevy festival, California-based punk-rock outfit Zebrahead are planning another flying UK visit. This time, it’s more of a promotional junket in honour of their new album ‘Get Nice’, which is due for release on 29 Aug.
Says jovial frontman Ali Tabatabaee of ‘Get Nice’: “We wrote and recorded the entire album in our own studio and that is a first for us. We made a conscious effort to push ourselves into new directions with these songs. I think it’s a more diverse album and it has something for everyone. We think this album will definitely win a Nobel Peace Prize, get you a raise, and get your girlfriend pregnant all at the same time. It’s that good!” Gosh, talk about a triple threat.
